The evolution of Midland Disposal Stores starts 50 years ago as part of Swan Surplus Stores, a Hardware and Surplus store based in Midland. In the early 1970’s the need for a stand alone store to cater to the Outdoor Clothing & Camping market led to the creation of Midland Disposal Stores (MDS) also based in Midland. Since then it has grown to comprise of 6 stores in the Perth Metropolitan area: Midland, Perth, Joondalup, Morley, Fremantle and Rockingham all trading 6 days a week.

MDS has always been committed to service and competitive pricing and prides itself on providing this to the Perth Outdoor Camping, Clothing and Leisure markets. MDS also offers a unique mix of Work, Camping and Leisure products not easily found together in other retail stores.

As a third generation Family business with a half century of providing retail service to the Perth Outdoor, Camping and Clothing markets MDS is constantly improving it’s service and reliability to the Perth retail market.
